Sorry about the lack of response, my work schedule is jacked up because of the holidays, and one of my ferrets is very ill Probably wont make it through the night. If we can get a variety in your diet for raw we could graduate you. If your not changing the boys diets then that is fine, you dont have to post their menu.

1. Ferret's name:Zoe& Sophie 2. Ferret's weight: Zoe 2.10 lbs Sophie 2.32 lbs 3. Ferret has eaten "X" amount on average per meal. about 1.3 oz per meal 4. Stools on various proteins. Seemed pretty normal, except for 1st day on ground duck was a little icky. 5. Activity levels: Normal 6. Weekly menu:
Monday AM:Pork ribs/bones (they did not eat them hardly...I think bones are too big). PM: Stella Duck and Gizzards.
Tues AM:chicken neck and thigh. PM:chicken heart and thigh
Wed AM:Pork ribs (they ate a little bit better but still not working out) . PM: Beef kidney/turkey baby food soups and chicken thigh
Thurs AM:Chicken neck. PM: chicken liver and thigh w/bone meal.
Fri AM: Chicken wings. MIDDAY: Turkey baby food/Beef Kidney soups. PM: Ground Duck!(has organ and bone too)
Sat AM:chicken wing. PM: chicken wing and ground duck
SUN AM: Chicken hearts and liver. PM: Ground Lamb!(has bone and organ) and egg.
SO far the girls seem to like the ground duck pretty good...I am having to spoon feed though as they are not used to it. but they eat it pretty good from the spoon! They however are not happy with the Lamb and we are doing a scruff and stuff method right now..but Im sure in a few days they will accept it better. The new small bones pork stuff I got seem to not be a hit at all. I think the bones are too big. I did try chopping them up also but they are even hard for me to cut.

My little girl is hanging on, but Im not super hopeful. She's very thin and we are having a hard time getting the diarrhea under control. Do your girls eat the pork meat off the bones at least? Glad to see the duck and lamb in rotation!

Continued good thoughts for her <3 They ate some of the pork off the bones, but left alot too...it kinda seems real fatty so they may not like the fat part. The girls are eating the duck grind on their own without my help! The lamb is a different story tho! LOL

Lamb has a ...taste.. it's not for everyone. Maybe mixing a little of it into the duck grind? Everything is trial and error, sometimes they simply do not like a type of meat and there isn't much you can do about it. Yes pork is fatty and not all ferrets like to eat fat. You could always strip the meat off the bones if they cannot eat the bones. It's good for them to pull it off themselves to build jaw strength, but you could offer gizzards to help with that too instead.

A final menu would consist of what you plan to feed them everyday with the variety of proteins and organs.

Here is my final menu example. I plan to feed 9 in bone meals with four of those being grinds with bone and organ. Other meals will consist of muscle meat and organs including heart. Mice 1-2x a week. They will also get 2 whole eggs per week. Please note we do have a few other proteins or meat items but this is what they primarily eat. As a side note, the girls typically get 1.5 oz of heart per week per ferret, 1.2 oz of liver per week per ferret, and .70 oz of beef kidney per week per ferret PLUS whatever organ is in the grinds they eat also.
Monday AM:Chicken neck. PM: Chicken heart and Chicken muscle meat.
Tues AM:chicken neck. PM:chicken liver and Pork Muscle meat
Wed AM:Chicken wings . PM: Ground duck.
Thurs AM:Mice and Whole Egg. PM: ground lamb.
Fri AM: Ground duck. PM: Chicken liver,Chicken Heart, small amount of Beef Kidney.
Sat AM:chicken wing. PM: Beef Kidney and whole egg and a muscle meat if still hungry.
SUN AM: Chicken neck. PM: Ground Lamb.

Can you post all the different proteins they eat? Heather is a little concerned about the amount of chicken meals.

Sure! Here they are: I am assuming you don't need me to includ organs, but if you do I surely can! Chicken: necks, thigh, wings, gizzards Pork Quail: all ground Lamb: all ground Duck: all ground Cornish hen: all Turkey: typically thigh or whatever muscle meat I can find out the store. Hope this helps. I apologize for the delayed response and that my menu wasn't payed out very well.
