He is still eating kibble. Last night, he ate about 0.7 oz of kibble.

That's not very much kibble and he's eating quite a bit of the soup now. It's really almost time to take the kibble away completely, but since you're going to be on vacation, it might be better to wait until you get back home. He'll already be somewhat stressed because of the change in location and schedule, and taking away the kibble could stress him even more and I don't want to do that. While you're away, just try to keep up with the soups and keep increasing the size of his slivers.
Your cottage sounds lovely, out in the country I assume. Do you take Cloud out for walks? My kids LOVE to go outside but I don't trust them off their leashes. Have fun!

The plan changed and we are now going to Killarny (Small fishing village) for a few days and then to Science North (in Sudbury) and I can still bring Cloud.

Still sounds good to me! We stayed home for vacation this year and just hung out and relaxed. Glad Cloud still gets vacation too!

We decided to stay another night but I am back now. We couldn't bring Cloud into the hotel so he had to stay in the van in his cage. It wasn't too hot or cold out but we left the windows partly open so Cloud could have some fresh air. We were always busy so I didn't have much success with feeding Cloud his soup. I pretty much just gave up and gave him kibble for the time being. I am just about to give him his PM meal so hopefully he didn't get too attached to his kibble. I'm not sure if I'm forgetting anything but here is the latest food journal: www.dropbox.com/s/43pxgkmvr1bfm14/Food%20Journal%20July%2024%20to%2027.docx

Cloud took to his soup just fine. I put it down and he went straight for it.

OK, good. He's showing interest in the chunks Make the chunks a little smaller and give him more chunks and less soup. Let's see if he prefers chunks to soups. Keep trying to increase the amount of soup he eats. I really want to get him completely off the kibble soon.

How is Cloud doing with the smaller chunks?

My parents surprised me with a trip to the cottage on Friday; I was in a rush to get ready and forget to let you know. We brought Cloud with us but I left the soup at home because last time I had raw soup in a cooler, it went bad really quickly.

Cloud is doing well. I started him back on soups a few days ago. He still doesn't eat the larger chunks but he will usually eat the smaller ones.
