I think Evanna is eating quite well. You've seen an energy level increase, and her fur is getting softer. Huzzah! We popped into a pet store today, and the little ferret in there has such rough fur.
None of mine are crazy about ground beef, but keep doing what you're doing. Increase the beef, little by little. Evanna will get used to it and start liking it, a little more.
The scent glands, where they poof, are near their anus. They do have aprocrine and preputial glands on their neck and shoulders and as I understand it, those are like sweat glands.
She let you rub her tummy? That's so funny. I've never seen mine move their legs (like a puppy), I'll have to try harder. She was jumping on the bed and inviting you to play. I'm not so crazy about getting bit at 3:00, in the morning, either. Juliet does that. If she persists, I put her down on the floor. She gets back up, I put her down, she gets back up, I put her down. Usually after the third or fourth time, she stops. I hate to stop her, she's doesn't ask for much and I should play with her then, but geez.
Your news about the possible new boy, is really exciting. I love that he's the same age and I think it would be great for Evanna to have a friend. I hope that he finds a good home, either with you or someone else. I can't wait to hear what happens.
What does your boyfriend think of Evanna. He sounds like he's been good with her. Does she like him?

I just found out that the possible boy probably has adrenal and needs the implant >.> boooo Yeah I was not super thrilled about getting woken up at 6 I'll be sure to take her off the bed next time. I was kind of just pushing her away and protecting my legs with blankets. She's probably like HOOOMAN youre always so loud why are you just lying there? Oh well its time to play so you better get up! My boyfriend, Mclain, is super great with her he tells me he misses her and he loves to cuddle her and bury his face in her fur. He's an animal lover, but he doesnt like taking care of things so he just lives vicariously through me

I love your boyfriends name, Mclain. What a cool name. Is the little boy, a No Go, then? He looks so sweet. I always worry about the older ones, its so hard for them to find a home.

I havent completely decided. I want to look at himfirst tomorrow and then make decisions. I also can't take him right now. My grandmas were pretty adamant about no more ferrets, so Alyse has kindly offered to take him for a little while if I decide to get him. I move into my apartment in august so I'd take him right before she gets her new kit.

I decided to pass on him. He's very cute, but I just can't right now. I do feel bad though maybe this lady will have one that needs a home in august.

I understand. We can't take them all. We stopped at the local petstore today and there was a little ferret, who looked just like Roamy. He had been there two weeks, so he is maybe ten weeks old. The Pet store owner has him in a small cage, clean though and he will get sold fast. Its so hard, not to worry about each and every one and want to bring them all home.

Yeah, but on the brightside Evanna chowed down on half her dinner on her own already I also put a few slivers of raw pork fat that my grandma cut off our dinner as a treat for her and I think she liked it The lady said she would keep me in mind if any came in later :3 so maybe hopefully then.

dang I woke up this morning and she had licked the plate clean. The bones range from half to all of my pinky nail. Not super big, but she's chewing them . Should I start making her chucks bigger?

Wow, she really is moving along fast. Definitely make the chunks bigger. Put a few bigger ones out, and then watch and see how she does. If she has trouble, then put the rest out in her regular size.
When you make a pound of organ soup, do you freeze the rest? Do you use the ice cube tray method or baggies? Just curious, either way is fine.
Have you been shopping for Quail, yet? I'm curious to see how Evanna likes it.

I've already got tonight's dinner chopped up

Sounds good. Any questions or concerns? I did ask whether Adrenal ferrets will get Grapetail? I haven't heard back, yet.

Nope she's been eating pretty good and she comes when I call her now she's still waking me up at night so I just put her on the floor when she starts trying to get at my legs. Youre right she stopped after a few times of putting her on the floor.
