I heard back from the senior Mentors about Adrenal ferrets and grapetails. Fretki said her Adrenal female has grapetail. Katt said neither of hers do. Sherry said only her Willow had it.
So, I guess we will have to wait and see if Evanna gets grapetail.

My grandma says that Evanna smells so I tried to explain to her that she's detoxing right now, but she doesnt listen. It went in one ear and out the other. BUT I do clean up her litter a couple times a day and I wash her bedding every few days trying to be courteous to my grandma. I dont really think she smells that bad and even Mclain has said she smells a lot better, but do you have any tips for keeping the smell down?

I left her chicken wing a little less chopped and she seems to be okay chewing it. I also managed to chop down and hit my finger so that hurts, but its not bleeding real bad or anything

A finger oweee can really hurt. So, Evanna is doing bigger bones, that's very good.
As for smell, she is detoxing and the smell will go away. You could give her a bath, without using any soap. Think of it, more as a playtime. I know she doesn't like the hose, but you could put her in a shallow tub with warm water and play with her for a few minutes. Does your grandmother smell Evanna or does she complain about the smell in your room? It could be that Evanna has hidden a few poops. Also, I think some people have a heightened sense of smell (definitely not me) and they will always notice smells, that others of us, don't notice.
Since we know that Evanna is making great progress, let's give you a Pop Quiz question:
1. Can a ferret have too much Taurine?
2. Can a ferret have too much Liver?

I'll scour today for poops. I think Its just the smell in my room, which is why I do her laundry so often.
1. No taurine is water soluble so she just pees out the excess 2 yes, liver has a lot of vitamin A and its fat soluble so it gets stored in the body and she can have an overdose of it.

I found no poops under the bed. Just a lot of dust

I'm so proud of her (and You). We officially started this on May 19th, and look at how well, she is doing. So, she hasn't had any kibble in almost a month and she's eating bones, very well. What a good girl.
Have you give her a blanket ride, yet?

Wow I can't believe its been that long thank you for being such an awesome mentor! I tried, but she wasnt very interested.... she met the vacuum today though and she thought that was a fun toy to follow around and climb on.

Thanks for saying that. You have certainly made my first time, easy and a pleasure.
vacuum cleaners are weird. I see alot of ferrants say that their ferret is terrified of them, my Ponce was. None of my four now, are afraid and none are deaf. They love to chase mine around. The carpet cleaner, on the other hand, is of no interest.
I wonder why Evanna doesn't like blanket rides, do you think she can see the blanket? How about a paper bag, have you tried letting her climb into one and then picking it up and gently swinging it? I just got a crinkly bag, that some plastic balls came in. Wynstan has gone insane over it. Now, they all love to climb into it and then I pick them up and swing the bag, gently. That produces great hops of joy and then they chase each other, back into the bag, for another swing.

She also likes the dust mop very helpful when I clean *insert sarcasm here* Im not really sure if she can see the blanket. She loves laying on them, but not so much when theyre moving. She LOVES bags plastic bags, purses, backpacks haha if you dont want her in it then you better not leave it on the floor. I stuff one of my reusable grocery bags with toys or paper sometimes and she crawls into it and pulls everything out.

Typical female...of course, she loves purses. Don't we all. (dance)
You could try putting a few pieces of food in them, for her to find. I use to use FDR for foraging treats. Now, I use freeze dried hearts and cut them into small pieces. Wynstan stashes pieces of food, everywhere and the ones, that I don't find, get so stinky. The hearts are much more Mom friendly and don't smell.
