Thanks luckily it was a small studio, so not too much stuff to move That's good at least! Still a pain though and moving is always stressful. For me anyways. lol I was going to do HareToday but the shipping was so much money and my friend decided not to go in on an order with me. But I have recently acquired local chicken liver and hearts. I recently gave Bea ground bison too, she seemed to love that. I'll let you know how the plain slivers go later today. Fingers crossed!Ah okay, good to know. How did the plain slivers go? Also, are you mixing the heart and livers into her soup? Should be 1oz of liver and 1 oz of heart to 8oz of meat for each soup batch. Oh, I do have a smart phone so I'll download that app. Great! She's at a really critical stage and if we can communicate more frequently it will help a lot to move her forward faster.

So Bea didn't eat the pieces in water. But she did eat quite a few when they were mixed with her soupie. They were about the size of the tip of my pinky maybe a bit smaller. She really refuses to eat the longer strips.

She really refuses to eat the longer strips. What a little Diva! I swear it's written in a top secret rule book somewhere that by ferret law insu ferrets have to be the most stubborn and difficult to switch ferrets. ROFL Oh well, slow and steady wins the race! If she won't take them plain but will in soup stick to the soup. Let's Knorr increasing size of the slivers for a while and work on increasing the number instead. Gradually add a few more slivers with each meal, and start to decrease the amount of soup each meal. When she gets to about 1/2 slivers and 1/2 soup we'll make some adjustments to keep her balanced. Try adding a couple extra slivers to the soup tonight and let me know how she does with that.

She ate a couple tonight, she usually eats one or two, but mostly is interested in the soupie. She eats more it thy are smaller so I think I am going to decrease the size again and increase the number like you suggested. I'll keep you posted

Okay sounds like a good plan! Also, though this applies more for the bigger slivers, but they tend to like long and thin more than short and square. Obviously at this size shape is kind of irrelevant, but something to keep in mind at least. Let me know how the smaller, more numerous slivers go!

Okay, I'll put both long and skinny and small slivers too. The pieces have been kinda chunky so ill cut them thinner, maybe that will help

Bea is still pretty much ignoring the big slivers. She'll naw on the ends but that's it. But she will eat on not two smaller ones. I ran out of soupie last night, so I fed her some ground bison mixed with water and chicken slivers. She liked it (but same deal with the slivers) I'll be mixing up a new batch tonight. And cutting up some new slivers. Going to make them super thin! We are going on vacation, leaving wed. And we'll be back next tues. Not sure if the cottage my bro rented has wifi. It's in rural VT so ya never know

Good to know that you'll be gone, thanks for the heads up! Hmmm if she likes the grinds maybe we could experiment with another approach when you get back. We may try mixing some small slivers (we'd have to work on heart and organs separately to make sure she doesn't get imbalanced) into the water+grinds. They might go less noticed that way and let us be a little a walker about it. Keep up with the soup while you're gone and let me know how she does. Hopefully you'll find some wifi but if not I'll watch for Tuesday. Have fun camping!!!! (dance)

So had to give a quick update before we go. Bea ate all her slivers last night and this morning, I think she could have kept going! I upped the amount for dinner tonight so knock on wood and cross your fingers!

I upped the amount for dinner tonight so knock on wood and cross your fingers! yaaay! A good step in the right direction! (dance) Let me know how tonight goes. About what is the sliver:soup ratio? As long as she continues to eat like a good girl, keep increasing the number of slivers a little bit every day. Or every meal if she eats with gusto like today! Good girl Bea!!
