Okay- sorry I've just kind of left you hanging. As you know this week has been nuts. It does sound like they are all doing well! Would you write up a menu on what they are now getting to give me a clearer idea? Thanks

Don't worry about me, I'll just keep posting. I know that this hasn't been the best week for you. We are finally going to the grocery store, today. I will build the weeks menu and also post a recap of this week. Everyone is doing well. Energy levels are super high, poops look okay and everyone is eating good sized chunks. We are still working on eating bone. Wynstan does fine with bone, as long as its not too big. The others are still eating smashed up bone.

Good Evening.
Dinner is gizzards. They love gizzards, and even Mika eats large pieces. I just cut them in half and then, half the half.
We went to the grocery store, so in the morning, I will bag and put stuff away. Then I will post their menu for the week.
:thankyou: I hope that your weekend is quiet and relaxing.

Good Morning. (wave)
Breakfast is organ soup. about 6oz of chicken liver, 4 hearts and a little chicken wing meat. I chopped up the wing and added it into the soup. Then I pulsed the magic bullet and left everything in chunks. Everyone ate soup, and finished off 3/4 of the soup. Even Mika ate the chunks.
She is doing much better with bone. Dinner last night was chicken wings, and I have seen her eating the bones. We're moving along well, we have success eating chunks of hearts, livers and of course, chunks of meat. Everyone is eating bone. I am still chopping it up alot, but graduating the sizes toward the tips.
My menu plan starts on Mondays, so a little later today, I will post the weeks menu. I have to rearrange some furniture today and I expect alot of little helpers will get involved.
:thankyou:

Good Morning (wave)
All is going well. Dinner last night and breakfast this morning, is CGH. I'm pleased with how everyone is eating. I'm crunching the bone into bigger pieces and I have seen everyone eat them. Mika still picks thru and looks for boneless meat, but I have hand fed her pieces of CGH with the bone and she does eat them.
This weeks menu:
Monday a.m. Cornish game hen p.m. beef puree with a whole egg mixed in
Tuesday a.m. chicken wings p.m. pork loin
Wednesday a.m. chicken wings p.m. beef sirloin
Thursday a.m. chicken wings p.m. organ soup. half pork liver/ half pork brains
Friday a.m. chicken gizzards p.m. chicken wings
Saturday a.m. organ chunks half pork kidney/half liver and chicken hearts p.m. chicken wings
Sunday a.m. CGH p.m. chicken hearts and chicken gizzards
I'm heavy on chicken wings, since I'm pushing larger pieces of bones. We've made good progress with bones, so I want to continue, moving forward.
:thankyou:

Still looks pretty good! It is time to get another protein in now if you can find it Turkey, lamb, goat are good ones for muscle meats. Turkey necks are great bones for more experienced eaters, as are pork button bones or rib ends Fish if you like. Stick to smaller fresh water varieties. If you can find smelts they are great. Maybe 4-6" long. Perfect serving size

Okay, Thanks. We have to make a grocery store run, into Nashville. I'll look for some turkey, smelts (all of mine like fish) and see what else, I can find.

Fantastic!! Let me know what they think of it all Lucreia is one I have to watch with smelts. Poor wee girlie will eat them until she is green. Think a child with too much candy cotton after the fair

Good Afternoon (wave) My morning got off to a slightly groggy start. I mixed up my day's and thought today was Wednesday. So, this morning was beef sirloin with an egg in it. I'll do Tues pork, tomorrow morning. The puree went well. I sliced thin slices of beef sirloin and then pureed the soup and poured it over the slices. Everyone really liked it. Most of the soup is gone, so between the four of them, they ate about eight ounces of soup.
:thankyou:

In that case start reducing the soup as well as thinning it out until they are eating the meat alone You can always do one meal a week of just soup so they stay used to it.

Good Evening :wave2:
Not much new to report. Everyone ate breakfast pork and more pork for dinner, played like crazy and went for a walk. Roamy is now sleeping in the napkin drawer. He climbs up into the cabinet, up the back and settles into the napkins. We walk by the cabinet and see a drawer that's open and close it. A little later, I hear bang...bang...bang and go open the cabinet door. He walks out and looks at me like, 'what took you so long". He's a funny little fellow.

Good Evening. (wave)
All is well. Chicken wings for breakfast and organ soup for dinner. Everyone except Wynstan loves their soup. Mika is doing much better eating wings. Wynstan got up first and stole all the chopped wings, so I followed behind him and put them back (after I washed them off).
Today's big excitement was the great mouse hunt. I couldn't believe how fast, Juliet caught and dispatched the little mouse. I had to leave the room, and she stashed it, before I could stop her. Roamy woke up and was hunting for the stashed mouse, while Wynstan seemed confused by all the excitement.

Monkeys How large are the pieces they are eating now?

Good Morning (wave)
The pieces they eat, depend on the protein. They will eat large pieces of gizzards. I cut the gizzard in half and then cut each half. They will take a whole gizzard, and eat it. I just prefer to cut them, because Wynstan has to stash anything, that is large and whole. The pieces of beef sirloin usually get wolfed down, before the pieces make it, onto a plate. Pork slices are eaten in quarter size pieces and chicken is also eaten in large pieces. I have been cutting wing tips, like you do. I take the cleaver and chop it lengthwise. Then chop it into three pieces. Wynstan and Roamy eat it, like that. Juliet prefers to take anything with bone and run off, and eat alone. Mika still prefers hand feeding and in order to watch, what she eats, I sit with her.
The majority of their eating is done at night, now. I put out a plate of dinner, upstairs and downstairs. Usually, all of the upstairs dinner is gone. I check for stashing and there is not much stashing at night. Downstairs dinner is usually only half gone (or still half there, if you are an optimist, though in this case...half gone is the optimistic point of view).
Most stashing occurs in the day, after breakfast. So, I know they aren't hungry then. Correct?
We are going into Nashville today, so I will look for some tasty treasures. I really want to look for Smelt.
:thankyou:
