Thats not a bad idea. Has the diarrhea only been avery and foster? Or did Kimble have some too? I'm wondering if the higher number of chunks in the fdr is acting as too much meat, not enough bone. When you add the boneless chunks it alters the balance. Perhaps when you add as much as 1/4 meat chunks try sprinkling on some ground egg shells. I know when I added more and more chunks to my soupie this is what I did. Added calcium can help firm up the poops.

Yes, Foster, Avery, and Hoshi all had diarrhea. Kimble did not eat it, so he was fine. Foster and Avery's weren't so much like not enough calcium as they were seedy, which makes me think something didn't agree. It seemed to have corrected itself for the time being, although I'm anticipating gnarly poops tonight. They ate FIVE ice cubes of organs between the three of them and licked the bowls clean. I'll give Kimble something with bone tonight and add some egg shells for F and A. I bought more CGH, pork neck bones (I don't think they'll be able to eat the bones, but they've got good meat on them), hearts and gizzards. I'm defrosting in the fridge enough that I can portion and re freeze. Have a safe trip. I'll work on getting the menu uploaded tomorrow.

Hmm... It seems so odd that they are all seedy. Surely one protein didn't disagree with all of them :S

Hoshi was just plain old diarrhea, Foster's poop was ALL seedy, Avery's was loose and just a bit seedy. Wonder if it started to go funky and with it mixed in with FDR, they didn't notice?

Oooh! New meal planning idea! I realized that ferret food is taking over our upstairs freezer. So I decided to pull out a balanced menu for the week, put the rest in the downstairs freezer, and have added chicken pieces to every portion of CGF for Avery and Foster for the week. I think this should make feeding lots easier because I won't have to think every day, just once per week.

That looks awesome. The best part of "graduating" is that you have a weekly menu so thinking isn't required. Lol. Van you post the menu for me? I'm not home yet but about an hour away. 15ish hours of driving done in the past 30 hours. Ugh.

Everyone ate hearts/organs well tonight. They licked the bowl clean! Top is Kimble, left is Foster, bottom is Avery.

Aww I'm so glad they all like their organs/heart meal. You're menu looks good. One question about it is later in the week are you adding pieces for Foster and avery? If not I recommend you do.

Every frozen meal got chicken pieces added to it when I packaged up the week. Avery eats most of them, Foster eats some of them...it depends how hungry he is.

That works great! When I look at it now there is no food listed but the layout is all there. I'm glad that Avery is eating the pieces. I would try hand feeding a few pieces at mealtime to Foster. He will catch on. Once they both are eating them well try increasing the amount. How much would you say each meal contains? 1/4 chunks? 1/10 chunks? etc. Just so I can get a visual How is everyone's energy and poops?

Energy is great. Poops vary, but all fall within normal parameters. The pieces make up 1/5-1/4 of the total. I've tried feeding pieces to Foster, but he is really resistant. I'll keep trying though.
And yes...that spreadsheet is for next week. I already posted the one for the current week. But that one is ready for next week.
