Alright! Wow- they were easy switches, lol. Out of curiosity have you had Sadie's blood glucose done at the vet's yet? Might be an idea with her previous diet just to be on the safe side. Here is a link to a basic menu along with the different varieties of bone in, etc that they can have. Something that may help a good deal is to print it off and take it to the stores/markets near you: holisticferret60.proboards.com/thread/146/meat-bone-organ-weekly-menuIn the interim I'd like to see them getting some variety in their menu. Pork, duck, turkey, beef, cornish hen seem to be the most available. Although duck and cornish hen will most likely be in the freezer section of your store.

Yes ma'am lol and I have not but I will do that. I honestly didn't even consider it. It should have been the first thing on my list especially considering her previous diet. I appreciate the link n I will print a copy to take to the store with me. They currently have had mainly chicken n beef. I will visit my second store seeing as how they have a bigger variety of meats and will let you know how it goes.

Oh they love it! They will eat just about any kind of raw meat I put in their cage. They're definitely not picky.

Just realized something! They need more heart and liver in their menu. I evidently overlooked it. OOPS! Just increase to one and a half heart meals a week and one and a half liver meals a week. So one of each, and either one mixed together(until you can get kidney or something like that), and then you can mix with other meats if preferred.

Okay, I will make sure they get that. They do love the hearts, gizzards and livers. I will be looking into hopefully finding some kidneys and other edible bones as well as muscle meats. I was wondering,is it okay to feed them beef liver? I have some for them in the freezer but didn't want to give it to them til I made sure it was okay for them to eat.

Okay awesome and I did get to the store finally. I got more chicken wings but the problem was they didn't have as wide of a selection of meat as they usually do. I was a bit confused. They didn't have chicken hearts or gizzards. Right now, their diet is consisting of chicken liver, beef liver, hog jowls, chicken wings, egg yolks, raw soup, beef tips, and mince hamburger meat. Sadie has also put on some weight finally! She has just gotten her winter coat so both of my girls are now happy n fluffy.

How about turkey or pork? Most will have those in stock on a regular basis. Also check out the freezer section in meats. Cornish hen is another good one for them.

Will definitely be looking for those as well. What parts of a turkey can ferrets have? I have given them the organs and turkey neck before. Is there any other parts they can eat?
