Not to worry, things have been crazy for everyone I'm sure given the holidays. How have the fuzzies been doing? Appetites and weight gone down for spring? Have they finished their shed? Some of mine haven't even started shedding yet oi.

Sherholms, how much organs per week are you feeding total? (In ounces)
Got some clarification from other mentors. It should be 2 ounces of liver per week and 2 ounces of your other organ, per ferret.

Each organ meal is 4oz total (2 of each) I feed 2 organ meals a week. 8 oz total / 2 ferts = 4oz each.

How have we been doing with variety? Have you had any luck with anything besides chicken and pork lately?

How have we been doing with variety? Have you had any luck with anything besides chicken and pork lately? Turkey is a yes! Going to pick some up tomorrow. They're still iffy about beef. Will probably keep that to a minimum. Also going to pick up another mouse. I think they're far enough along to do something besides play with it/chew on its face.

Just found out there is a self-proclaimed "Holistic Pet Warehouse" about 30 minutes away. From their page:
"This is NOT your typical pet warehouse, this is for holistically inclined pet owners who are interested in only the best and healthiest products for their pets."
Looks like they carry *multiple* brands of raw & treats!
You better believe I'm going to head over there tomorrow!

Excellent! I'm glad to hear you might find some cool stuffs :3
My only concern at this point is more variety, ideally we'd like to see 3 different proteins on a weekly basis, they don't all have to rotate each week. For example, week 1 is chicken, pork, turkey, week 2 is chicken, pork, mouse, week 3 is turkey, pork, beef, etc.

I'll pick up some turkey tomorrow (they like Turkey necks) and get that in the mix in equal quantities with the chicken and pork. Hopefully the mouse works out and I can work that in as well.

If they won't touch it whole to start, you can try grinding it into mouse patte or chop it into smaller bits and mix it with stuff they do like.

Actually gave them a smaller-than-usual meal this morning (off bone muscle meat) and am going to cut the mouse up a bit and feed this evening. I also think Loki may have taken a almost-totally-gnawed chicken leg bone out of the cage and stashed it somewhere in my room. I swear I saw him running down the hall with one. Have to investigate that at some point this afternoon as well. ;D

Haha you'll smell it if you don't find it after a few days. How'd your visit to that store go anyway?
