I know you want to rescue, but are there any petstores with babies nearby?

There are two pet store about 45 minutes from me that we could get one from. Both charge about $150 for a ferret. I really don't want to buy from a pet store but I will take her ferret shopping as a last resort.

*hugs* I obviously really hope it works out. Any other ferrets around?

*hugs* I obviously really hope it works out. Any other ferrets around? Finding one under a year old is rare here. But I will continue looking.

Well the Boggle is being to recover. Since Friday they haven't even wanted to leave the cage & I was having to feed several soup do to dehydration & lack of eating. This morning they where all begging to get out & the food dish was empty. Even Crash & Doc were playing and no longer showing signs of dehydration. It is not over yet but at least they are looking better.

Oh good! It sounds like the worst of their grieving may be coming to an end. Although keep watch. In spite of saying their goodbyes it can still really hit them later on. Lucrezia grieved for Vincent for almost a full year.

Yes I expect another down turn at some point. It was just good to see them play a bit.

I keep realizing all the things I don't have to do now that Jeremy is gone. Feels like getting kicked each time. I don't need to tie up old sock for him, keep a litter box on every floor of the cage, not feed pork...........

Doc & Arthus received their implants yesterday. Both did very well. Hopefully they will feel better soon.

Crash just left my son's arms(her very favorite person) to come snuggle me & did not go back on her own. Not a good sign as she has only done that once before when deeply depressed. I will be keeping a close eye on her.
Doc is also very sluggish today. Watching him for possible bg issues.

I was just wondering how Crash was coping. I am sorry that she is not doing well. Hopefully with the support of you and her favourite person (son) she can get through and overcome her grief.
Hope the implants help Doc and Arthus
