I was just now able to watch the videos and that is the strangest thing! I have never had a very vocal ferret, but I have certainly never imagined one to make that horrible sound! Poor Wynston is so confused! lol I love how he keeps looking at the camera/you for confirmation that he is not doing anything wrong. What a good boy. She is certainly a drama queen! She's a tiny thing too isn't she? How does she compare to Juliet?

She is tiny and seems so fragile. Keller weighs 1lb 9oz. Juliet weighs 2lbs 13oz. I still can't let Juliet near her. I think the screaming turn on Juliet's prey drive. Keller is playing okay with Wynstan and Mika, as long as they don't touch her. In other words, they follow her around and she explores. Keller was playing in a plastic bag yesterday, I would swing it and she loved it. Wynstan got in and everything was fine. Then Mika took a turn and when Keller saw her in the bag, she screamed and Mika reached over and grabbed her, like "SHUT UP!"
She's actually very vocal even when she's not screaming. So is Juliet. They both chatter constantly. Wynstan and Mika have begun dooking softly around Keller. They seem to be trying to talk to her.
We keep Roamy far away. When she's in her cage, she dives into her sleeper, anytime she sees him. He got ahold of my arm, trying to get to her and I have a pretty mean bite from him. He wouldn't let go and his tail got huge. When I unlatched him, he grabbed my other arm.
So, we're going slow with the Upstairs blocked off from the Downstairs. Everyone naps in the middle of the day, and its nice and quiet. Mornings and Evenings are hectic, trying to play and keep two different groups occupied, fed and amused.
On the plus side, Keller is great with the litter box. She eats very well. She's super sweet and playful and hasn't tried to bite once. She also loves the little tiny balls and pushes them around for the longest time. Last night, there was screaming and I found that she wanted Mika's little white bathroom cup. I gave them each a cup with a little water and all was quiet for awhile.
It's Entertainment. (dance)

MY GOODness! Your busy! haha That is sweet that their trying to communicate with the poor girl. Poor Wynstan is prob like 'IT'S OK, I just want to SNIFF you!" haha It's almost lucky that you have an up and down stairs, seems almost easier to keep them separated. I was just looking at your film strip for your signature, it's gonna be uneven now! haha

I wish I could let my ferrets roam my whole house, but if I did they'd all either be eaten, crushed, lost, or escape to outside within about 10 minutes...

Plus, the little fellow has bonded with Leon. How would I ever ask Paul to add TWO more.

Free roam is great for them, but makes for anxious moments for us. Since its just Paul and I, we're used to it. However, its probably not a good idea for a busy house with other pets, people coming and going and forget about opening windows.

Yeah, there is 8 people total in our house, 2 of which are 8 and 9 year old boys and then we have 2 cats, 4 sugar gliders, and 4 dogs. And one of the dogs has killed two hamsters by somehow managing to climb on top of a tall desk and get the locked cage door open... So I have a plexi glass door barrier that I can barely step over and my door is always shut... I worry haha

Cloud??? I must have missed something! And what's two more hahaha If their light colored, they would just blend in... he would never notice Jeremy's Boggle has a ferret rescue in Alabama. She had been posting about Cloud. One day, while she was near his cage, he stood up straight and then fell over with his legs sticking straight out. She kind of ignored him and he did it again and then looked at her like, "I'm being cute, can I come out and play?" I fell in Love with this little guy and his sense of humor. This was just a few days before we were due to pick up Kelller. I figured that I would wait thru the intros and then ask Paul about Cloud. Now, Cloud has bonded with Leon and Paul is so stressed over this intro. Men always seem to take it harder. So, I'm at a standstill.

Oh gee... Cloud has bonded with Leon?! That means you'll need to get them together and poor lonely little Keller STILL won't have a special friend, so you'll need to find one more! Ferret Math at its finest.... :jk:

Not so much with the ferrets but the skunks. He gets all worked up over things that he makes up n his head. I'm ready to send him to a therapist. You might as well get him now and just deal with the chaos all at one time. Sent from my Nexus 10 using proboards
