Hello everybody! I have a few questions about shelter ferrets, first off, how much is their rehoming fee? And anyone who's ever gotten a ferret at Washington Metropolitan Area Ferret Outreach, and Richmond Ferret Rescue League, do they take good care of their ferrets? Do they socialize them?
- Thanks!

Richmond Ferret Rescue League or F.I.R.S.T. has staff that tend to be rude to people. I know I personally don't care for there staff and I believe it was Sherry that also had a problem with them. They do seem to treat there ferrets well but I can't only say that from the info I read off of there website.
Fees are as follows: (Copied from there website.)
Adoption fees are $95.00 for each healthy, vaccinated, descented, and neutered/spayed ferret. All ferrets receive full medical care before adoption and remain in foster care until they are ready for a new home. A personal interview and the completion of an adoption AGREEMENT is required.
I do know there are 3 or 4 more shelters in BC. Are you in Canada or the US?

I am in the us, but it can only be at the most 2 hours away. (I'm not aloud to post exact location) I'll probably go with the other shelter! Thanks for the tip!

Yeah, I was basically told I shouldn't have a ferret if I was only letting him out if cage 3-4 hrs a day. It was my first and he was a bad biter. I wrote them for advise on what to do.
