You really should try raw, my ferret has very little smell, I clean his litter boxes twice a day and change his bedding weekly. He doesn't get baths or any odor control spray either. The raw meat makes the ferret smell almost non existent. For litter, until like 2 days ago I was using pine pellets, but they tracked something horrible. I started using the blue buffalo walnut shell pellets and there is no tracking and no pee or poo smell when I scoop the boxes. If you must feed kibble, Orijen would be the best. But seriously, I'm new to the raw, been doing it a couple months now, and the changes I've seen are phenomenal, and my Brady is only like 4 months old! His coat is awesome and so so soft! It's easy to do as well, I make 5 weeks of raw food at once. Then label the bag with the day it is to be fed and freeze them! Its a breeze.
