I'm getting this strange pop up. Ever since I tried to quote some post . It comes up when I'm trying to go another thread. It only happens here no where else on any web site so I figure its something with this site? it tells me I have no room to do something with cookies that I need a internet explorer or 2.0 firefox...Strange

Yes I did ...nothing. it seems like its on a stuck mode. I copied down exactly what it says and remember it only happens on this forum no where else. unable to save quote due to limitation on cookie size. To increase storage capacity consider using a browser that supports a global storage mechanism such as Internet Explorer 5.0 or Firefox 2.0

Let me go over to proboards and ask for you. Out of curiosity- what browser are you using?

This happens to me occassionally - I'm using Google Chrome. Does it happen every time? I haven't been having it pop up lately. It doesn't seem To affect anything and you should be able to quote as normal.

The multiple quote option is an added feature that was coded in. I believe certain browsers are not always tested when the create the codes.
Are you still able to quote after you close the pop up?

Also, the last time this code was updated was in 2008, so depending on your browser it could be updated beyond what the code is compatible with.

That's interesting Jackie. I use both firefox and internet explorer, depending on what I'm doing, and I've not had it come up in either.

Yeah, I've tested the code with all three browsers, and I've only had issues with Chrome, which came out in 2008, so it might be a compatibility issue, cookie issue, or the fact thy chrome might not have global storage mechanism in the same way thy IE and Firefox.

That makes sense. I've posted this thread over at proboards, so we'll see what kind of an answer, if any, they might have.

If they can't find a solution, I can post in the coding support forum and see if someone can modify it so this problem doesn't happen again. They were very helpful in issues involving coding.

Most likely it's associated with Google Chrome. I will head over to the coding section and see if they cant tweek the code a bit so the issue doesn't happen
