OK, so I'm on a mission to find some probiotics, some enzymes, and some salmon oil for my boys. The problem is that there are TOO many to choose from. Not only do I not want to choose the wrong kind that doesn't help, but I also don't want to choose a kind that will harm my boys! SO....for those of you that give probiotics, enzymes (to break up protein for easier digestion), and salmon oil, can you help a Floridian find the types of each of these that I need. It would also be helpful if you could give me the names of the brands you use. FOr the thousandth time I went to Whole Foods tonight and I swear, the wall of probiotics and enzymes has grown - it's like 6 feet wide and 7 feet tall now!!! Again, brand names and exact types of each of the 3 things I am looking for would be most helpful.
Also, from what I've heard there is 1 lady on here that knows a good bit about these things - is it Miami??? If so, Miami, you would probably be a good resource for me since we live in the same state and can probably get the same exact products!
Thanks!!!

I can only help on the salmon oil. I use the grizzly salmon brand for dogs. Some stores sell it but I've found it cheaper to order online. I buy a big pump container since my girls all love it. I also cut it with some extra virgin olive oil which adds that benefit and also helps the salmon stuff last longer.

I have been using the grizzly salmon oil as well, but I will be stopping it after I finish this bottle as it has rosemary oil in it as a preservative and another thread the other day pointed out it could be harmful to ferrets. I am using Benne Bac as a pro biotic as it is literally the only thing I could find. It has sugar in it though so I use it sparingly and won't be buying more of it. I am hoping to find something better.

I don't think the rosemary is in amounts where it can be dangerous. I've been using grizzly salmon oil for a long time with no issues

I have grizzly and it's a new bottle, it has no rosemary in it. Look around it's there. You can smell it as soon as you crack the bottle if it's been added (you can also check the fine print for ingredients....mine only has salmon oil) ciao

Does no one use just plain Acidophilus? I have used it for my hedgehog, and every now and then I have added some into the fuzzies soup. Mine is in capsule form, but I just pull the capsule apart and sprinkle some onto their food. It's just a regular probiotic

I have from time to time when I use a probiotic that's usually what I get.
