Air Purifer Help

I am searching for a good but low cost air purifier. I would prefer one that has a water filter.

I believe I am allergic to smoke. I don't smoke and I live in a smoke free house. However my father smokes and when I go to work I get a terrible headache from the smoke in that house. I would like to get an air purifier for work. I also want to get one for my rodent room so I can start setting that back up again.

I had been following someones thread on there mouse colony that they have one for but for the life of me I can't find it.

I believe that you will want an actual HEPA purifier, if you want to get rid of smoke. There are HEPA-Type ones, but I think some of the particles in smoke are too small to be filtered out of the HEPA-Types. I know there are some now that use UV light to help purify as well, though I don't know how it would help with substances like smoke.
