I need to find a good home for my two boys, and I figured a ferret forum would be the perfect place to start. Unfortunately with a new job and new house I really dont have enough time to give my ferrets. I feel terrible and I have been putting it off because I love them, but I it is not fair to them. They need to come out to play more than they do. If anyone is interested or knows someone who is, please let me know. I do not want to split them up, so if you want one, please take both.

Is there any way you can work around this? Even bring them out for shorter periods of time 3-4 times a day can make a world of difference. Maybe ferret proof the bathroom completely including investing in a baby gate or a playpen? It can take some doing. I found I had to get up an hour earlier than I normally would have so they could have enough "out" time split during the day and evening.

Southern Indiana sorry. You should try Sherrys suggestion. Better for them to stay with you than be uprooted to a shelter or a new home.

Is there no way to make it work? I have a small animal rescue and so if you get desperate and really need to get rid of them I might be able to make space to take them in. I would then take the time to find a suitable home to adopt them out to. Are they raw fed? I am in Poughkeepsie NY. Please let me know if I can help in anyway. I hope you can make other arrangements to keep your babies though ~*Opal Raven and the Business of Flower, Amalia & Davinger *~

Opalraven- are you following the Hurricane Sandy lost and found pets page on fb? They've got a found ferret on there.

Sherry- I have not, I have been so crazy busy with what I have now I tried to look for it but I think it was to far down, my phone is being slow. If you see it again. Please give them my email if you want. It's krescuerehab@yahoo.com I don't like to look at stuff like that because I am soo limited with what I can do it makes me sad. I already have a roomful of animals to find loving homes for ~*Opal Raven and the Business of Flower, Amalia & Davinger *~

Im in danbury not to far away! Ive been looking for a friend or 2 for simon. The only problem is that they would need to be males to and big like him. At the shelter before i adopted him he was in a cage with other ferrets smaller then him and he would grab them and toose them around but if there big like him he wont.

These guys are probably long gone now, that was from November... have you tried CL, Kiji or FACT to find Simon a friend?
