I would like to get Pj to start eating meats and more things that are healthier for him instead of just plain ol kibble. I've read a lot that said they love chicken livers, so I've tried that and he wants no part of it. He doesn't show any interest in anything that could be good for him, instead he goes after things he shouldn't have like candy and anything sweet. (much like his father) So I would like to know what are all my options for food other then the kibble, and what is the best way to get him started on eating them?

He just doesn't recognize meat as food. You should sign up to our mentoring program. holisticferret60.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=switchWhile you are waiting to be assigned to someone you should read through the threads. You can't post in those but it'll give you some insight!

In the interim, if you decide to go the mentoring route, do you feed any sort of soup that he likes? That's frequently a good way to start.

We have came to the decision to start raw.. tonight i bought beech nut meat. I put a spoonful on their kibble and they went nuts eating it (the baby food) is this a promising start?

Could be use as a switching tool....basically adding small amounts of real meat to it until it's all raw meat ciao

It is most definitely a good tool Like Heather mentioned, start adding just a dab of raw puree to it, slowly increasing the amount.
