Hi everyone! Haven't been on the forum in a while and look what happens - it moves!! Oh well, at least I found you guys again  Melinda and Damia are doing great. Bastien has a hurt paw at the moment (which is what prompted me to stop by) but otherwise is doing good. All are still eating raw and loving it. Promise to be more active from now on!!! Thanks for not letting this forum go away - it's much too valuable a resource for all of us ferret lovers. Teri aka glynus |

Thanks for all the welcomes and good thoughts for Bastien. I'm not sure what happened but I think he either fell or got stuck on the ladder in his cage. Naturally, it had to happen while I was at work (and the kids were "safely" shut up in their room). I have been debating on taking him for xrays but I really don't think anything is broken. My vet is currently "between offices" so we would have to go to the emergency vet. He is starting to put some weight on it so I think he is getting a little better but I feel so bad for him - he wants to run around and play but it's just too much effort  Will get some pics posted soon but have to get off the computer for now (been having trouble with my eyes as a side effect of asthma meds - haven't quite decided which is worse, not being able to breath or not being able to focus on anything for more than a couple of minutes. either way, it's putting a major cramp in my daily activities. teri |

Quick update - Bastien is doing much better - barely limping anymore :)and once again comes running when he hears me in the kitchen and starts begging for treats  teri |
