I was checking out the ferrets's teeth today, and I noticed they all have tartar buildup in the same exact spot. Mis's and Tikki's are a littler blurry, but you can see that their yellow tartar is in the same spot as Coco's. It's kind of weird, and I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed tartar trends in their ferrets. I'm a bit confused about this. Coco: Mis: Tikki: I'm going to get scrubbing their teeth better, to be sure. It's not a huge spot of tartar, but I don't want it to get worse. Anyone have any tips for brushing their teeth? It's a bit of a hassle, but maybe someone has some tips to make it easier. :3

No- none of mine have any build up. I gather you're still doing RMB's and whole prey?

Hm, that's strange. Pixie has greyish tartar on her molars but that's been gone since we switched to RMB. Has he been getting soups/ground lately?

Yup, they're getting chicken wings and thighs and whole prey. I just started giving them NV rabbit, but they just had their first medallions in a looong while last Sunday. They haven't had soupies in a long while as well because the only one who eats them is Tikki, the younger kids, as a rule, don't eat anything that's in a bowl. >__< They've been getting their organs chopped up with other meat because of that.
It's really, really weird because that's the only spot. Even the yellowish buildup on Tikki's molars went away once she started raw, but it's like this one spot on all their teeth isn't getting cleaned right.

Might be an idea to schedule a cleaning for them then. Hopefully once it's gone, the RMB's will keep it that way.
