Hello everyone!
I'm sort of new I suppose... I lurked around the older forum for awhile before I got my ferrets in September and continued to lurk for a little while afterwards as well. However, school got the best of me and I didn't come to the forums for quite some time. Well this semester I've found a bit more free time so I've been up to my lurking again.
I figured I should finally introduce myself. My name is Dominique although many people just call me Domi. I'm currently living in western Kentucky. I have 2 dogs (poop-zhu/cockapoo/some sort of mutt and a yorkie). I have 2 ferrets as well, Jujubee (girl) and Felix (boy). They are both roughly 15 months old. I adopted them from a couple who could no longer care for them and it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. They have brought tons of joy into my life.
My dogs are not completely on a raw diet although they get raw meat several times a week. My ferrets are not completely on a raw diet either, however, we are getting closer. As of right now they both will eat chicken/cornish hen. Typically they like it better if I hand feed them but I'm trying to get them to prefer to eat the chunks I cut up for them off a plate/tray/something other than my hand. I have to be honest and admit they will typically eventually eat the meat...I just have to make sure they don't hide it in my closet for me to find later as ferret jerky...stinky ferret jerky
Jujubee tried lamb yesterday and she enjoyed it as long as the pieces were small enough for her to chew just a little before she swallowed (she's so lazy and spoiled). Felix wanted nothing to do with it. So we're still in the beginning but at least they see raw meat as edible!
I'm looking forward to learning tons more from all of you as you are all so knowledgeable!

You're darlings are adorable! Please feel free to browse, post, ask questions, etc! And looking forward to hearing all about their antics. Your pups and fuzzums seem to be good friends 
It sounds like you're well on your way to having your fur-family on a raw diet, since they're already eating some. That's great!
