This is Caillou's before and after, the first picture is the day he started raw, and the second is 5 months later. In the "before" he weighs 3.2 lbs. In the "after" he weighs 2.8 lbs. He lost fat and gained muscle, and is crazy fluffy because of how healthy and hydrated his skin and body is.

I love this thread, all the pics and transformation stories are fantastic. Every ferret in here is beautiful, but I do have a goofy love of the chubby ones!

I bought Joey from Petco on the 15th of February. They had been feeding him Marshall's Premium diet kibble. On the 21st I began feeding him raw. Joey has been on a raw diet for two weeks now and I already notice an amazing difference! (dance)
Here I have two photos, one taken on 2/17/15 and another on 3/07/15
He is currently weighing 2lbs 12oz.
His fur has gotten so incredibly shiny and he has some hairs when in the sunlight shine a goldish tone. I'm so happy!! I can't wait to see after 6 months!!!

I took some pictures of Sunny's teeth a couple days ago and compared them to older pictures. His teeth look SO much better now that he's on raw/whole prey! Before: After: They aren't perfect yet, but it's a huge improvement. Just look at that back molar! And here are my favorite before and afters of Katie. Before: After: Before: After: Look at how fluffy her tail is now! I'm very happy with the results of feeding raw, I'd never go back to kibble.

Really gives me something to think about, also omg every single ferret is the cutest little thing ever Seeing is believing. There's simply no denying the benefits when you actually witness the incredible changes. My vet is accepting of my feeding a raw diet, but he doesn't promote it (I am working on him). The one thing he consitently says when I take any of my kids (cat, dog or ferrets) in for a checkup is that he simply is amazed with the muscle mass/tone. Best thing I ever did for my fur kids, hate that it took me the majority of my life to educate myself.

Best thing I ever did for my fur kids, hate that it took me the majority of my life to educate myself. That's really awesome. I remember the first time I saw someone give their ferret a raw chicken wing I thought it was the weirdest thing ever. Until I researched further and realized it was so much better for them. There's a real feeling of pride when your animal is the epitome of health. I think the health and happiness of your animals is the real goal in owning them. I love this thread.

Its been 10 weeks now and look at that. Pretty impressive. So she's had some issues with her weight since the moment I got her, but this here is proof that she's doing incredibly well now and has gained more muscle. Her coat is looking fuller and more vibrant. Its shedding season, so you can see the fur becoming shorter on her tail. But even with the shedding, her coat is incredibly soft and fluffy almost. She's a completely different ferret since she started on raw. She's more active and more happy. She's less snappy, less moody and more joyful and playful. Haru is my pretty little girl.
