Is it okay to slide my babies across the floor with hand or foot? My cats have always enjoyed being pulled across a floor gently but is it okay for ferrets?

I do it to mine all the time and they seem to enjoy it! They always bounce back up and start dooking.

I do it too. Ferret bowling. I have to slide them so I can escape out the front door without the weasels trying to escape too

We ferret bowl all the time, or used to, now only one of mine seems to think it's fun but our first girl loved it! She'd jump back up and run back for more. You can also drag them on a towel, that's a big hit with mine.

yes that is fine but never pull them by their tails and don't yank on their legs. i act like i'm wiping the floor with my ferret and he gets so angry! when i let him go he goes completely spastic.

Okay thanks. First time ferrent here lol. I didn't want to try until I was sure it was okay. I'm one of those "Oh no! Don't do that! You'll die!" kind of worry-ers. I actually freaked out the first time they dooked when I got them home. It's funny because we went to petco for an iguana and came home with two fuzzies. No idea how that happened.

My guys love it. I have ceramic flooring (very slippery stuff) we do ferret bowling all the time. Towel and tube rides are thoroughly enjoyed too ;D ;D Even Fun-Go loves the sliding, unfortunately, he gets so excited he starts biting everyone . ciao

some of my ferrets like that too or plastic bag rides. I pop them in and slide it on the floor. They go crazy and will jump back in for more.

Mine love ferret bowling as well ;D Especially when you slide two or more at once, or slide them into each other ;D

Oh man, Jeff did that to Bonkers when Bonkers and I first moved in. Gave me a heart attack! But after I saw Bonkers jump right up and run back for more, I knew it was alright lol
Booth loves when Daddy spins him on his back in circles then pushes him away. He never even seems dizzy, but instead just jumps up and runs at him for more. ;D
