I'm so excited. somebody is now breeding rabbits just for food in the next town over. sorry but no shipping. I bought some pinkies (already frozen) for ferrets to try. they will get them tomorrow. now for my question? what are the chances of them eating them on first try, since when they tried baby rats, mice, and chicks, they learned by killing them that they were yummy to eat? any suggestions for if they don't know what to do with them?

Funny story. Ours adore mice, rats, chicks, as well as adult rabbit. So when I had the chance I gave them rabbit pinkies. All ferrets picked them up, moved them to the back of the cage, then came back up to the front as if to say "thanks for the gifts mom, now where's our supper?" ;D

Mine had only eaten mice and I bought them rabbit, rats, quail and guinea pigs, they dug right in. Mine actually adore rabbit pinkies.
