Hello to all. I am new to the raw feeding. But not to ferrets. Have had up to 20 of my own. And re-homed many fuzzys in my home town. I recently decided to try feeding the raw. I am so saddened by my fuzzies passing over the bridge by disease instead of age. So Lets give this a try. My name is Ann. I live in Prescott AZ. I have 5 elderly ferrets. And 2 babies coming to me soon from a local breeder.

Hi Ann, and welcome to the forum  Please, feel free to browse, post, ask questions, etc! Check out the nutrition boards in particular. There are a tone of ideas on how to switch your fuzz on there. Are you planning on switching your older ferrets, as well as the babies? |

Hi and welcome on board Please fee free to prowl, read, ask questions and participate in discussions. As Sherry pointed out you may want to do some serious research in the nutritional section. I do sympathize with you in the death by disease rather than old age issue. I've been finding it increasingly difficult to deal with as the age of the most dreaded diseases showing up in younger and younger ferrets  Everyone's friendly, so don't feel nervous about asking questions. I hope I will be seeing you around. Please post pics of your little ones, we love pictures here  ciao |

Hello! Glad you've found your way over here! This site has a WEALTH of information to help your fuzzies live a healthy, long life. A switch to raw is often a bit challenging, but TOTALLY worth it! I hope you stick around - I want to see pics of your fuzzies (especially the babies!) |
