Yaay I got a connection. Barely. It took about 20 min to pull up a new thread... lol We are going clamming in the morning and I thought it might be fun to give the boys some scraps. I don't see why it would be a problem but does anyone else know something I don't? Also, if I can even get them to recognize it as food (Koda has a bad track record with seafood) it could be fun to give them a whole clam so they have to figure out how to open it. Is there any reason they can't eat the whole thing? Shane asked if the stomach contents would be okay for them.... Anyone havethoughts on this?

Not certain, but as a treat I don't see a problem. Odds of them opening one are pretty remote, but they'd likely have fun with it anyway!

I can't see why not. I would do whatever you do to prepare them...clean them or whatever and then see if they would eat them. I don't think they'd ever get into one on their own. Don't sea otters smack them on a rock on their tummies....I think that's a taught art. ciao
