to my surprise, my normal vet called into her work today and got my message about squirrley and then called me. we talked for about an hour. she agrees with everything you guys have had me do with her. the only change she made due to seeming to have a tiny bit of belly upset due to pred increase, is instead of taking a 10mg pill and mixing it into 10cc water and giving .25cc, she wants me giving 1/4 of a 10mg tab. we are keeping her on the pred and pepcid tabs due to cost. unfortunately, when this dose stops working, it will be time to put her down. at least the last part of her life will be happier.

Hey- at least she'll have had the chance to know what a home is supposed to be before she has to cross to the bridge. Lots of gentle hugs for the little one, and love on her lots

That's all about being a ferrant...as hard as it is we take the downs with the ups. May your wee one's ups be much more than her downs Just remember no matter how short or long this part of her journey is, it's tons better than the last. Here she will earn her heartkey. Enjoy her . ciao

You can only do so much, and one of those things is keep her happy and deal with things as they come. Make lots of happy memories.
