im starting to think my foster may be adranial, not only does she look shaved (that is what i was told, but she seems to be very itchey. i figure its worth a try. i want to start her on melintonin. she is one pound. i would be using eather the pill or liquid capsul. i need to know the dose, how to give it and when to give it.

It has to be given 7-9 hours after sunrise. No idea on dosage though. Because of timing issues most find a melatonin implant to be more convenient.

She would also be very itchy if her skin is dry, or her fur growing back in.

It's worth a try. The only time the melatonin did anything for Pooka (after she lost her fur) was in conjunction with the DES implant. She stayed as naked as a jaybird on the lupron and melatonin. After her DES implant and the melatonin she put on the most beautiful, soft coat ciao

Oh, meant to add .3mls of melatonin to be given between 7 and 9 hrs after sunset. For a lot of people it just doesn't work because they're out somewhere (usually working). It has to be that timing or it won't work. If you can't do that there is always the melatonin implant but I've never used it. ciao
