Welcome to the forum Mika! I've already met you on skype but had to go learn something about you, sorry for the late welcome, I just got my first fuzzy.  I've been hanging out here since December while I waited, I love the forum! We are able to feed all our pets raw because of a landfill diversion program and checking sales. Whole prey can be expensive, so feeding a franken-prey type diet that you can buy from grocery and ethnic stores is often cheaper. Check for a landfill diversion program near you - keywords Sustainable Selections and Quest Recycling.  So happy to have you here - and may I say I love your "i <3 you" art.  I sing and dabble in guitar and piano a teeny bit myself but I'm not in the least bit drawing capable at all! Hoping to see pictures of your fuzzies soon! |

Ohey! You're the same person on here too~ I thought maybe Katt was you since someone mentioned she was on a reptile forum, but it's a different one, so I was curious where you were  and thanks for the welcome c: Ha~ I welcomed you on the other forum, and now you get to welcome me here I'll be sure to check out the Recycling/Landfill thing, but I don't think there's an programs like that around here.. I could be wrong, though. Next time I'm at the grocery I'll try and get mom to let me get some raw chicken or something for them to make into soup. Thanks for the compliment on my art, too Do you ever record any of your singing/instrument playing? And thanks Katt I would have been talking on Skype earlier but I've been knocked out half the day and I've spent the last 3 - 4 hours catching up on the reptile forums and other things. D; |

if you want to get chicken for soup i highly recommend heathers recipe chicken thigh with skin, because its darker meat and they need the fat in skin my kids liked the soup

I don't think any new programs can start up just yet as the government is checking them out but they seem pleased at what they've been doing. You may find one already started that needs a new member or that you can get on a list to get in though. I find it saves you more money if you have a mid-sized dog or two to feed in addition. I have recorded some of my stuff, but it's been a couple of years, I think I still have some on facebook. |
