Yes, it certainly is! I've had many cage wars here. They are generally NOT pleasant. They normally consist of one ferret doing their darndest to pull the other ferret backwards THROUGH the cage bars

My dad has never been a big ferret person (hes tolerated them well though when my sister and mom had them and still does when I bring the kids over) but he really liked SoCo and told me he was the best looking ferret that hed ever seen @ Sherry, OMG really? I didnt even know that was possible I am SOOOO glad that didnt happen, what did you do!?

A spray bottle on stream will frequently distract them enough to make them let go ;D Once they've been distracted, you can usually grab them then!

He is so adorable. I'm glad that you're seeing progress between your wee one and your alpha female. Cage wars are nasty. I've got a couple of little ones who try to drag their opposition through the cage bars. Odin lost a whole canine trying to drag Fun-Go through the cage bars by pulling Fun-Go out on his blankies. Usually, it involves war dancing, swearing, bottle-brush tails and a lot of show...sometimes the fuzz on the outside manages to grab a fuzz who is on the inside and attempts to haul that fuzz out do beat them up. It can get nasty. I have a couple of hard core fighters, who would think nothing about doing some serious damage to another fuzz. ciao

Yea the hardcore thing really is Kahlua's cup of tea. I got the rescue remedy and so far no change. She seemed less... aggressive in her search for him so I let her sniff him and then, faster than a dern rattlesnake, she had his cheek. Luckily mostly fur annnd so I am continuing seperation. Next I try that gell stuff that Sherry had mentioned. I gave the RR to her in her water and behind her ears and while I was administering it to her water, she licked the dropper and threw a little spit fit and then then tried to lick the dropper again. All it seemed to do was make everyone really sleepy but when they were out and about she was still dead set on hunting SoCo. On Saturday, there was some more nipping at the cage bars but, again, it didnt last long and then she wandered off to the crunch lady bug bag. Saturday night I let her and Mojtio sleep free range in the ferret room while SoCo slept in their cage (also in the ferret room) because I heard you should switch out bedding and seeing as he ususally sleeps free range.. well.. i couldnt switch the carpet and the hammock, lol. SoCo didn't sleep in their hammock, I know he isnt fond of them but probably more so when they're doused in her scent. He kept looking up at me, petrified. He did okay and so did they. They ended up curling up in their carrier (i have it open on the floor) and although SoCo has never slept in it before, the fallowing night when they slept in their cage, he slept in the carrier. (iff that makes sence)
I think it MAY be a jealousy war. Kahlua is very possesive over me (and over Mojito) and it may be that so I was considering ordering the Holly For Jealousy flower stuff by the Bach's RR people (I had gotten the original Pet RR) can I use that? Do you think it will help if the original didnt (i dont think he original contains any holly)

there is also a specific remedy for different types of aggression. Holly is only one. You can also mix up to 3 remedies to create a custom mix for just a fuzz. You really have to think about it. Talk to Sherry about it. I helped her create a mix for one of her little ones. I don't know if it helped or not. She had several issues going on at once with a couple of fuzzes so I don't know if it helped or not. You can also create a mix for SOCo to make him braver though I'm not sure standing your ground with a nasty sprite is a good idea though ciao

Unfortunately, nothing seems to stop Lucrezia when she's on the hunt for strange ferrets ;D Looking at the remedies, I'm thinking maybe beech(Intolerance toward animals, people, events and situations ), Holly(Jealousy of other animals or a new baby in the home. Angry growling, hissing, barking, snapping or unprovoked attacks), and walnut(For any period of change ). Mix them evenly, and use a few drops in the water dishes, and a dab rubbed into the ear flap.

I'll talk to Sherry and I think they actually have the chart for free if you call, at least thats what their webpage says.. maybe I shoulda ordered on the phone and asked for one at the same time, lol.

Thank you I will try that mix as soon as I can get it to me, these are the people ones (not formulated for pets) correct? Does that make any difference?

These listed are for animals, yes. And no, not a lot of difference. From what I understand, the animal ones are not alcohol based, but not certain on that.

Thanks, cool beans. I tried the RR original pet for two days, should I give it longer before I hop try something else? The reason I ask is because i was reading some older posts and (i dont remember which one) but in on of them it was reccomended to use RR for about a week. Should I keep trying with that before I get the others and that goo stuff for the back of his neck? (Also should I bathe him after i put that stuff on him?)

What a cute blaze! It's so adorable, watching him grow up and tackle that bowl of meat like a seasoned pro! Good boy! ^_^

I would keep trying for a week or more. When I was discussing this for my brat cat (it didn't work really well because I should have been treating both cats not just the one ) they said that it sometimes takes more than a month to see results. I used it successfully with Porthos, Mayhem and Attila. Saw no results with Lady "B". I have no hope at all that she would ever accept anyone else into her group. They're down to 3....her, Thor and Odin. She will kill anyone out of Fun-Go's group. ciao

Definitely give it a bit more time. I hope you start seeing results soon
