I am photographing a wedding this weekend, so I have some extra money. I'm planning on picking up a few toys for our group. I thought I'd see what everyone would recommend. Of course the more economical the suggestions the more they can get. I don't think I'm going to buy more rice due to too much pottying in it the last time.

My kids love cat teasers, mini tennis balls, crochet eggs, those stuffed animals without stuffing. Cat teasers are a big hit though

Tennis balls are a huge hit, and I recently found mice cat toys at the Dollar Store that sound like a baby rattle. They love those. Also, baby rattles and crinkle toys. They are usually safe because they are made for infants.

A lot of the old baby toys are now ferret toys. I found some nice tunnels, sock monkeys & a harness. As well as a flea comb that is hopefully they can't stash as easily as the other two. I'll be getting some more teaser toy attachments Friday.

Someone put a cat teaser toy on here before that makes a mouse-like squeak when the little weight at the very end is pulled too much. I got one two days ago and Teddy really really likes it. He looks like a regular little hunter after a mouse, when he chases after it. Unfortunately he just broke the mouse squeak part though. I let him sit and chew on it for a minute and now it no longer squeaks. Awesome toy.

Oh yeah! Organic soil or rice dig box. Long lasting and hours of fun.

He can hear high pitched sounds and he doesn't like them. Our teaser toy is set up so that the toy part can be change or replaced. If Momo gets too down I'll try getting a plant to sacrifice to him as he loves the plants at the vets office.

A box of easter eggs has been a huge hit here since the day after easter. It can make a mess if they manage to knock it over, but one of mine loves to push the egg around the house even through he ignores balls.
I found a domed/igloo style cat litter box when my neightbor was having a garage sale. It hadn't been used in a long time and was covered in dust. I steralized it and use it as a ball bin. All the easter eggs went into it and they have a much harder time knocking it over. They seem to have even more fun in there than the box due to the curved sides. The eggs slide all over while they play. An added bonus is that the eggs tend to stay in there longer than in the storage bin. I just placed a bulk order for practice ping pong balls to fill the rest of the bottom of the bin up. I can't wait until they come in. BTW, some of the ferrets like to sleep in there too.

Mine ADORE the biodegradable packing peanuts. That is, when Nissa isn't eating them. She only does it when she gets super hungry though. So if she eats before she comes out, all she does is stash them. I was drawing the designs on our walls yesterday and found hundreds under the dresser. Also, plastic bags. Or trash bags. Koda plays tug of war with trash bags if you let him.
