I realized that the raw feeding group I visit to get more info on rawfeeding my doggie stresses making sure that the 4oz serving of meat has less than 100 mg of sodium in it, and I got to wondering if you guys stress that as well. Do you? I haven't seen any mention of it, but then again I could have missed it.

Sodium is in no way good for them. The less the better IMO. I refuse to buy "enhanced" meats for my fuzz, simply because it's been injected with saline solution to supposedly improve the flavour.

Yes I check everything, it's crazy because I had no idea previous to raw feeding and now I about have a heart attack looking at the turkeys with 660mg of sodium per serving! I ended up paying a fortune this fall for our turkey and theirs lol. Chicken seems about half and half up here whether it's enhanced or not.
