The girl we adopted Booth from contacted me via email tonight, asking if I was the one who she gave Booth to.
I'm just wondering, can she do ANYTHING legally to get Booth back if she wants him back and I refuse?
...he's our family now...

Glad it worked out ok. But just in case- no- there is NOTHING anyone can do along that line. Ownership was transferred when she surrendered him to you.

Thanks Sherry, I was still wanting an answer, just in case. And that's good to know. ...I must be very tired tonight as it was actually the lady we got Riley from! ...anyways...we are now going to be ferrents of 5!!!!!! Holy crap! 5! The girl, Loki, is pure white. We saw her when we went to pick up Riley. She was also very tiny. She's about 3 but they do have vet reference. It will be amazing to have Riley's cagemate! Also, they are giving her to us free with the cage even. Though we told her to keep the cage as we don't need it and she can sell it if she wants to. =]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]

Take the cage, even if you don't need it. It may come in handy eventually, plus they are much less likely to acquire another ferret (or other pet) on impulse. You can always sell it or donate it to a rescue.

I know we definitely won't need that cage as we had three before yesterday. We now have a Super Pet Large for quarantine and a three tier FN.
We're going to put Loki in the Super Pet for one week then on the top level of the FN as it is unused right now for litter training purposes.
Plus, I think she should get another animal. If she bought a ferret alone, then it would be fine, as she treated Loki and Riley well. She just couldn't handle Riley's biting and now Loki is depressed from missing Riley so she's willing to sacrifice giving her up so she can be happy.
Thanks for the suggestion though!
Oh, we are getting her next Sunday, so I'll post pics then. Can't wait to reunite them!

Aw, well she sounds like a very loving and responsible pet owner to be able to recognize when it it best for the pet to move on, whether she wants to give them up or not. I hope she is able to find another loving critter that will suit her better. And congrats on Loki, I can't wait to see pictures.
