Jackie, I figure it's going to be very interesting around here in a couple months or so. I had to rearrange the kit pen last year by the time the kits were 10 weeks old, as Cricket had already figured how to get out. She's an expert climber and jumper...and started early. <G>
Stisferretbizness, these kits will all be standard to dark sables. The jills can only go to owners who have previous experience with unaltered ferrets, as they would be too much of a challenge for those who have only had experience with the MF early neuters.

Thanks, everyone! The kits will be a week old tonight and, as of this morning, all 10 of them had at least doubled their birth weight. They're strong and active, and Cybill is a great mother.
I let her run around the house this morning while I was cleaning her cage and weighing the kits...she was delighted to have the opportunity to check everything out for the first time in a week, including the ferret room. She greeted Basil and Raven, and hissed at the two older jills. Charm and Maya have hated her since she arrived, and she has always returned their animosity. <G>
Of course, then Maya had to show her displeasure with Cybill being out while she was caged when she and Charm had their turn out in the house. While I was in the ferret room cleaning their cage, she unrolled about half of a new roll of toilet paper through the bathroom, down the hallway, and through the living room. She hasn't done that in more than a year, since the last time something really pi**ed her off.
