It could be that your breeder is waiting to see if she's going to have a successful breeding pair. She might contact you once she has kits on the ground or has a pair that has successfully mated. ciao

Candace, if you're still interested in getting a breeder ferret, I'd suggest you contact her again in a month or so. I can think of many reasons she hasn't gotten back to you, so don't take it personally.

That's what I was thinking about Joan. Just knowing that sometimes things like mated ferret pairs isn't as simple as it sounds. I've found that it's a bit more complex than breeding dogs. ciao

Email her again next month and ask if she's decided on her matings yet, and when it would be convenient to come for a visit. Breeders are usually very busy, especially if they're working outside the home. While I know two of the breeders in your area hold the traditional views re vaccination, a third one is very sympathetic to the holistic point of view and would not brush you off just because of your views on vaccination.
