My guys are so different in personality. It shows in everything they do, but when I play with them it's almost split personality. Teddy likes to play towel or shirt chase and wrestle on the floor. Artie likes to play tunnel through the pile of clothes/paper/etc to find the hand. Tonight I was playing with both of them at the same time. It was fun, but confusing.

That's what makes it so interesting and so difficult when switching fuzzes to a raw diet ciao

They do each have their own preferences for games, and anything else to do with them FOUND

That's why I'm so lucky I got Rolo as my first ferret, he is absolutely perfect for me. He easily gets super worked up over any type of interactive playtime. One of our favourites is "catch the ferret" where I try to block him escaping from our bedroom by trying catch him as he runs past out the doorway, he gets so worked up and starts getting veeeeeerry sneaky and strategic, and when he inevitably gets past me he will babble down the hallway and be a total spazz. Maybe I haven't met that many ferrets, but none that I have met so far seem to stay as focused on their people. Maybe it comes of being an only ferret?

It's definitely part of being an only ferret - but it's still part him too. He thinks he is a person (or you are a big, furless ferret with 2 heads (hands)). ;D Oby ferrets are special that way. Even now that I've had Kenai for a year, Koda far prefers playing with Shane and I, where Kenai is more likely to play with toys. Koda will stash toys, but he's really only interesting in playing with them if you're on the other end. When you lose interest in the toy, so does he. He gets into trouble to grt your attention, then begs you to chase him or pick him up. He'll play with you for hours. Kenai isn't so much into people. He will wrestle a little bit, but we're people and he's a ferret. He eventually loses interest and wants to play with his toys or attack Koda. He's runs to the door and watches the door. Koda runs to the door and watches me so I'll pick him up and open it. Kenai falls asleep in blankets, Koda is more likely to fall asleep in between my feet. I do find them curled up together quite often too. Their body language, facial expressions, general behavior, and even vocalizations are very different towards people. Even though he's finally learned to be a ferret, Koda still believes he's more closely related to humans.

Bode is like that too- he prefers to sleep with me rather than other places, get into trouble if I am busy (wants attention) follows me and pesters me until he is held, etc. He likes to stash and sometimes attack toys, but prefers interaction with me, whether that be chasing or cuddling.
He even sleeps the same hours I do, and when we get up in the morning, both of us are super groggy and he will follow me to the bathroom and lay on my feet with that "oh I hate mornings" look.
The other night, he was sleeping and I went to the bathroom but left my bedroom door cracked a little, and he managed to open it, come down the hall, and start pawing at the bathroom. He could have explored the whole house but chose me instead.

My two oldest are just like hurricanekatt's Koda and Kenai. Charlotte does the exact same thing with toys and as soon as she's done exploring the room and hiding her squeakies, she's pawing at my legs to be held and played with. Wheatley could care less what I'm doing most of the time, and he'd always rather play with Charlotte than with me. He doesn't cuddle, whereas Charlotte gets very upset if I put her down after she falls asleep in my lap.
