Everyone is eating commercial ground red dog blue kat food. Huck and Lily alternates, lamb, buffalo, venison, and kangaroo. Sometimes Huck will eat some rabbit, Lily loves rabbit. They both have IBD so poultry is out of the question for them. All have meat, organs, and bones, and for the meals that don't contain enough bone I add bone meal to it. Everyone else alternates chicken, turkey, rabbit, buffalo, venison, and kangaroo. Sometimes lamb, but it is expensive and like to use it for my IBD kids. I will be trying some chicken wings for them too this weekend. They are supposed to be balanced for a cat, but is that good for ferrets? I am trying to get as much variety for them as I can. If three protiens are minimum what they need, I think their needs are being met as I have 7 proteins with organs and bone already mixed in. Minus the poultry for Huck and Lily. The kangaroo also has goat heart and liver. I am just working on getting my old man Meeko to eat more of the raw and Fog to try more variety and they will be totally off kibbles.
