That's fantastic! Would you rewrite your menu including the new bone meals?

Ahhh, that makes total sense. I was just wondering about that. Do you add taurine at any time? The menu looks good. I'm guessing that you exchange the proteins with others? What proteins have you tried that they will eat? ciao

Sorry about the late reply internet connection hasnt been working since I unplugged everything. I dont add any taurine they do get heart with their organ soup. They get beef, pork, chicken, turkey and fish if thats what you meant by proteins? They havent had anything else and they eat abput everything I give them. They wont eat chicken feet or ox tails. Let me know if I misunderstood you. I have a feeling I did lol. Get back to you when I can. Thanks

No, that's what we mean by different proteins One thing I hadn't thought to ask before, and I can't find it in the thread- how MUCH each of kidney, liver, and heart do they get? Heart is a muscle meat, and they really need at least the equivalent of one meal a week just heart, or the same amount of heart spread out across the week. Liver and kidney, they need approx. 2oz of each per ferret per week.

1/2 or a whole beef heart is mixed in. They do get about 4 oz. of organ maybe more. Its also mixed with ground beef and a little water and ground raw bone. They eat that as one single meal that day. How many seperate meals do you guys feed each day?

I try to feed 3 because it helps me make sure meat doesn't go to waste. I feed before I leave for school, after I get back (about 5-8 hours later) and then when I put the kids up for the night. Most people feed two times a day.

I generally just feed twice a day, and remove stale meat(depending on size) at each feeding. Well- I think your menu looks good! So I'll just upgrade your status
