I think it just happened. I jut went to the petstore to pick up some frozen mice and they had these two adorable female ferrets. One was a DEW with a silver strip on her back. She was really feisty and playful. The other was a dark sable female. Very playful, but way less nippy. They were both soooooo cute. I think I might have to get one...

What a tough decision you have to make now! I type this while watching my dark sable and DEW males waging WWIII on eachother

It was strong of you to actually leave the store without one. But you will go back and the really question is will you come out with one or two? LOL!

I say two. I mean- if there are 4 or 5, you don't feel bad leaving with one. But how on earth anyone could walk away watching those sad little eyes on the solo ferret being left behind all by itself for who knows HOW many months....

I think the little dark sable stole my heart the most (though I've ALWAYS wanted a DEW forever.) Now just to convince the bf....

That's my problem. I'd go get Yuri a new friend except the petstore has 2 little ferrets. They've been together for a couple of months. They're both sables, one slightly lighter than the other (once they get on a raw diet there will be no difference). So, I can't even look at one and go...whoohoo, I've never had that colour before. I couldn't possibly be the person to leave one behind . Good luck being able to choose....you're doing better than I ciao

The store is getting some more ferrets this coming week from another store, so I don't think she'll be alone for long (if at all). It makes my decision a bit easier (though I REALLY want both!)

It does make it easier when you don't have to worry about the "last ferret" standing. ciao

Unless, of course, you go back after ALL the babies are sold, and there she is, still ALL alone

Nothing says you couldn't buy one and then go back for the other in a couple days if you change your mind..! ;P
