Hello! After catching up on some needed rules, I found them to be very inviting! I hope to get some pics soon! Don't ask but had a long night helping someone last week find some quality vet care for another species I do not keep, just know their needs, and I believe I fell asleep with the gig card in my hand. ;D I'll either locate it tonight or off to buy yet another brand new one. ( they are not cheap and this time bought a bigger one and of course, that had to happen before using it!) Currently in the medical field of study. I have dreams to be a vet specializing in exotics only, not an easy feat, but one i see a need for. We shall see. Life has many obstacles and it brings us wherever it was meant to be. It is nice to be here and see you all posting. I am currently feeding Wysong products , but want to switch to a whole prey, I think!?! Pretty sure on it, but I want to make sure it'll be a good fit too! I supplement with chicks and quail at the moment, but if I can get it nutritionally balanced on whole prey, and it can be affordable and work as well, I truly want to. I am unsure of the raw? Open to suggestions! What better forum to belong to than this one to help find that diet that not only works for us, but our ferrets as well. My only concerns are quality of the raw or whole prey be met, safety for them, would like to try and find the best way to offer it safely, and also find the best ways to switch them onto it, including a company etc. that I can make it work for us and them as well. Thanks and glad to be here!

Hi and welcome on board We would certainly enjoy more open minded vets ;D Please feel free to prowl around and check out the forum...read through the various sections ( you may want to spend some time checking out the nutrition section, the prey area in particular) and threads. Ask questions and get involved in discussions. Everyone's friendly..so you don't have to worry about open discussions. I hope that you will find your photo card and show us pictures of your little ones. ciao

Thanks! Yes I am sure if I can not locate the darn thing, it'll be bought again and treated like gold. If not by tonight. Drives me insane knowing its likely right where I put it! i have been prowling the forum for a bit here before registering. I'll make sure to be more active in discussions and figure out what is going to be the best fit for not only the ferrets, but for us as well. We'd do anything to insure their wellness and happiness. I would have never considered it without researching as best I could. Now, I am even more convinced it is healthier and balances everything out for their needs. Thanks for the warm welcome!

Yep, the better half is at the store now since I can't find that card for the life of me. Who would have thought ti'd be in my hand one second, and out the next. Glad I didn't have any irreplaceable pics on there however. I saw the mentor program! I was just about to do it earlier, but felt reading some of the forums would be very beneficial first to get an idea of what is involved and then submit for a mentor. Hoping I can do it successfully. I even added more whole prey to my cart online. Just have to hit that "submit" button to commit!

ok, here is my inquisitive trouble maker and her buddy is my "recently altered" male so he is relaxing away. Everyone was so interested in my camera, that it was merely impossible, should wait for a food coma More to come of course! Just a lil taste of my inquisitive yet loving ferrets.More pics as I can, but for tonight I did promise some pics!

She is my Rosy baby and the same as the last pic. She sure was hard to take a pic of since she got soooo excited for me! she wanted some major attention again so I had to give in! How could you resist such a playful face? I absolutely love her, quite a personality! Thank you Sherry and Rebel! I think pics are hard to truly capture them as I see them in person and we can all relate. No matter how cute, in person they captivate your heart forever. Love them dearly. No one else would pose for you or me ......sneeky! I will try again however, it was night time too by the time I got a replacement gig card!
