Their nutritional value is supposed to be 3-4 times higher than chicken eggs? Like, five times as much iron/potassium and twice as much Vit A and B2, and three times as much B1. Would this be a better alternative to chicken eggs or is it a little too much in some levels? I'm just curious because I noticed they were available on that K9 Cuisine Raw site.

I would follow the same rules as for regular chicken eggs (they're smaller so you're still within dietary reasons) the only difference is I would let them break into them too. My guys loved pigeon eggs. The shells aren't as hard as our chicken eggs (chickens are fed a special component to harden the eggs so they don't break easily in transit) which allows the whole special stimulation thing too. ciao

fun fact you can try...did you know you can squeeze a chicken egg with your hand and it will not break? Seriously I tried last night over a bowl in the sink and nope!

Watch a ferret try and break them Usually they just get very frustrated and leave, but most of them give a really good try. Mad Max was the only one that figured you just roll the egg to the stairs and let it go....even hard store eggs don't survive that ciao

Yes, he and Napoleon used to try and race the stupid egg down the stairs. I was not impressed, those egg shards are hard on the feet ciao

I think I will definitely be getting some quail eggs now and letting them break them, it sounds fun to watch! Do they try eat the shells? I'm guessing they are soft enough to digest/ won't cause any issues of they do?

My guys ate a good portion of the pigeon eggs. Chicken eggs, not so much, they'd just lick all the insides out ciao
