I know that Marshall's ferrets have two blue dots, but Pandora has three. Anybody know what that means?

Riley, I may not have gotten a great picture, but there are definitely 3 dots on her ear. I guess it must've just been a mess-up

Jeremy has two on his ear and some on his feet. He is a Marshalls so the reasons are a mystery to all but Marshalls . She could have jumped and given herself the extra one. I don't know if they are awake for it.

There are 3...go figure. Who can possibly understand what Marshals was thinking...same as the toe tats. Probably to baffle those that really would like to know what they mean. A vet tech with an unsteady hand ciao

I was told once upon a time (who knows if it is true) that the tattoos where to indicate the ferret has been neutered/spayed and descented. One blue dot for each. Maybe they added a 3rd dot for another thing... rabies shot maybe?

Kits that age don't get rabies shots. And Marshall's flatly refuses to respond to what any toe tats may mean. The ear dots are likely just to identify which mill they come from. As in RC ferrets having a blue I, Hagen used a green H, etc.
