So I got my oldest (1 year & 3 mo), Athena about 7 months ago from a girl from CL. She's my first, and at the time I hadn't really done any research on breeders because I had always planned on taking in a ferret who needed a home, so I didn't think it very important. So when she told me she was from Triple F I didn't really think much of it. (Although to be fair even if I had known, I probably wouldn't have thought much of it anyway, I was more concerned with getting her out from under the July Floridan sun and getting the fleas off her ) Its only now that I'm finding out about what goes on there. My question is this: Is my baby more likely to develop health problems sooner, and if so, is there anything I can do/should watch out for? Since I've had her she hasn't had any problems, but I want to be prepared if something does happen.

Each farm baby has it's own risks. Marshall's are adrenal and insulinoma. Real Canadian is the mycoplasmosis affecting respiratory. I *think* Path Valley are cardiomyopathies. I can't remember what Triple F are prone to.
