I got some leftover bone dust mixed with leftover meat from the butcher at my local grocery store. It was leftover from the blade when he cuts the meat. He normally throws it away. He gave it to me for free and there's a lot Can I use this in my ferrets soupy as a substitute for whole bone? Is it just as good as whole bone? Thank you, Ashley

Yes. You will have to experiment a little with how much you need to use but yes, every bit as good and as it's raw bone meal just as good as egg shells or any calcium supplement. ciao

When their stools look "normal" for a raw fed ferret. If they look dry(ish), it's too much. If they are loose, too little. And congrats on getting this!!!
