So yesterday I'm sitting trying to do some homework and Loki is running around playing as normal. He's not a vocal ferret, I can count on one hand the number of times I've heard him dook and those have all been one or two dooks that wouldn't disturb a librarian. He's just not much of a talker. After the incident with the Christmas candy I had dismantled his hideyhole under the sofa, apparently the fireplace is the new stashspot (its not real, it runs on sterno, so its safe) and he must have forgotten he stashed an entire chicken thigh in there. I obviously havent ran the fireplace in a long time. I hear weasel wildness and it scared me because he never ever goes off like that and I see him go bonkers with this big brown thing in his mouth that resembles a turd. I chase him down (dat wuz fun mahm!) to check it out and realize what it is blech! but I let him have it back, actually I let him steal it back so he felt all manly and powerful. *ferret arm flex* Still, our first piece of ferret jerky is nasty! ~Kelli

Most recent stash? Goat meat inside my freaking PILLOWCASE Oh, GROSS I have yet to discover any "choice" stash spots. Although Marley did run off under the bed with a piece of skin from his soupies tonight >.> but he stayed under the bed for awhile so I'm hoping he ate it Of course, I should probably note that we haven't even graduated to any sort of chunks in our soupies yet sooo I think that I will have plenty of stash spots in my future....

FreyaMarie, I'm in the same boat! I'm still with raw mush, so no stashing just yet! But Meeko LOOOOOVES stashing freeze dried for the others to eat when they're too lazy to head to the cage during playtime... I laughed so hard yesterday! I was picking up toys after play time, and in the middle of the living room, there is a small area with loads of crumbs of freeze dried. I tell my fiancé "Phil... something died here.... " And he's like "WHAT!?!?!?! Who's dead!?!?!?!" ;D ;D Ideally, in a month or two I shall have stashing problems as well ;D

Solution to stashing problems - one golden retriever mix. Riley loves it when the fuzzbutts try to stash their food Nothing escapes that nose!
