Rebel - no issues getting into Canada. The estimated shipping time was 1-2 weeks but it got here in less than a week! Shipping was a little steep. It says $20 shipping to Canada on the website but they emailed me saying prices use gone up so for my size of order it was $30-35 shipping. The food itself is pretty reasonably priced though! This is their first time trying Stella and Cheweys and holy moly! I gave them the Dandy Lamb dry just to see if they liked it before rehydrating because I know most ferrets aren't the biggest fan of and they went NUTS! Howie, my chill ferret started stealing food out of Olivia and Sophie's mouths before they finished chewing! And Bo bit my finger really hard in all of the excitement... Ouch! Note to self: don't hand feed Stella and Cheweys! ;D. Nova is the only one who isn't a fan, but she prefers food rehydrated so it's soaking now. Can't wait to see what they do with the Duck Duck Goose ;D

Feline natural is a good one . Are you feeding a raw diet or just freeze dried. If you feed just freeze dried you need 3 proteins. Feline natural is lamb and chicken but I would do two more (maybe beef and duck/goose). If you are just supplementing with it like I am, then just feline natural would work fine

I like using freeze dried for "just in case", because the vet's office won't give them raw I also got it to see if it made a difference for Boris' IBD. And who's the one ferret who absolutely, under no condition, will touch freeze dried

That's too bad Boris wouldn't try it! Our vet is sooo silly I like having it for lazy days. Plus I figure it I ever can't make it home to feed them I could actually convince my mom to feed them dinner if it was freeze-dried ;D

My ferrets go crazy for Stella and Chew's!
However, I have had problems with feeding it completely dry. My nephew and I have had 3 ferrets now get some stuck in their throat because it was too dry, and none of them thought to drink some water. This happened to Stella (my nephew's girl), Fenton, and Finn at different times. It was very uncomfortable for them and made them throw up or dry heave.
Maybe I just have bad luck? I don't know.
My ferrets also don't like it as much when it's fully rehydrated and soggy. So what I do now is, I just turn on the hot water at the faucet, and when it's coming out hot, I basically just rinse the Stella & Chewy's patty for a couple seconds. The patty sucks up enough water to moisten it just a little bit, but it won't get soggy that quickly. So far this little bit of moisture has been enough to prevent any of my ferrets from choking on it.
Just an idea! You might not even run into this problem. Maybe me and my nephew's ferrets are just dumb? ;D

I dont like feeding it completely dry either for those reasons Mikey! Mine have never choked on the freeze dried food but they have choked pretty badly on the freeze dried treats. So when I feed it "dry" I'm actually feeding it partially wet like you described it or mixing it with other raw meat so it soaks up some of that moisture.
Mommaferret - Olivia, Sophie, nova and Bo all went right off kibble onto freeze dried when they came home ( they were kits) and so did Howie and he was 2 years old. I find the switch from kibble to freeze dried is often much easier than kibble to raw.

Generally I find if you start by feeding it as a treat they are more accepting if it as a meal.
