It is And that's not unusual about the slightly mucousy poops. Duck is quite fatty, which is good for them, but yeah, first time new food, and the extra fat can definitely do that.

yes pepper is the ferret and I gave him and chance(ferret)and rocky(cat) all duck for the first time pepper was the only one that has mucous poopies?

Ooops, my bad. Sorry, I was thinking that peppered duck would probably cause some messy poops Now, I understand...the duck is "in" Pepper not pepper on the duck ciao

Different animals will react in different ways to various foods. I'd still try it again to be honest.
