Heres a set of OLD bird cages that I have I can always do a good thurough cleaning if I can talk my mom and gran into letting me get another ferret however heres what they look like This is one of them: and here is the other one: I know single ferrets need a good sized cage but would those work as a temporary cage to have them in for quarrenteen? to slowly have oreo and the little one if i were to ever get a new ferret for him instead of having to buy a new cage?

It is tiny, and if the new ferret got a good bit of out of cage time, then it might work. Do you have a separate room to keep a new one in? Proper quarantine means separate rooms, dishes, potty boxes, etc.

Id prolly use the 2nd one since its a little bigger. than the 1st.

I gave a small birdcage to a classmate of my son. She's using it for her new hamster. It's not perfect, but it's temporary.
