Im sure you can. I have heard some people have trouble feeding beef, strong smell. Mine have no problems but we normally buy stewing beef they like it chewy. Its about 3.79/lb here in FL (usa)
I believe people feed denser beef because it helps with jaw strength. If it was cheap enough and they will eat with being on a budget then i would say yeah.

Ok because Flower is still not thrilled with big chunks of meat, so I thought maybe I could try hamburger since its sort of pieces, but soft... Lol

Morgan and Kahlua love hamburger meat... Morgan loves everything (tripe included) Mojito and SoCo tolerate it. I usually mix it with other things and depending on the other ingredients in the mix + the hamburger vs. Other meats ratio, it can be gone in a few minutes OR sometimes I can leave it overnight and SoCo and Mojito will still have some left. It's a great thickener though

Yup! It's just ground beef. Poor Koda is allergic to beef though.

As are Boris and Mr. Frodo. Poor little mites start severe projectile vomiting within about 10 minutes, and then the diarrhea starts.

Mine hate anything ground but they don't like raw beef at all. Freeze dried beef however is delicious. Picky buggers.

Oh no! Well flower has had beef heart so I don't think she is allergic. I'll have to keep an eye on the kids when I try it. Is a beef allergy common to Ferrets? Sent from my Desire HD using ProBoards

Is a beef allergy common to Ferrets? No more so than any other protein allergy. Which is why we suggest only introducing one protein at a time. That way you know what caused the problem.
