Hi! Im Gracefuzz, Im 21 and a student.
I'm mum to three adorable fuzzies, Shadow (also known as fatpie), Beanie and Bingo.
Recently have been looking into their food and chopping and changing things as I try to give them the best I can. After finding out what actually goes into kibble and how low the meat and protein percentage is I've just come to the conclusion that I dont want them eating rubbish anymore.
So I ended up at the old HFF and am now here!
Looking forward to reading up and getting mentored!

Welcome! I too did this same exact thing you are doing! Had ferrets for 6 months when i realized how messed up their food situation is. I hope your switch goes well. Its worth it! Took my babies almost 6 months but we and our furkids stuck it out and made it happen. Hope to see you around

Please feel free to prowl around and check out the various sections, read the threads, ask questions and get involved (best learning experience ever)...Everyone's friendly. I see you've applied for a mentor, awesome. You can read through the mentoring threads if you like (you just can't post to them) to give you an idea as to what goes on and what you're going to be doing.
I hope that you will post some photos of your wee ones. I hope I will be seeing your around ;D

Heres a few piccies-sorry they are not great. Beanie- she is my main motivation for switiching. she has no health concerns, but dosent keep her weight well.She does like raw mince and slithers of raw chicken with a bit of encouragement.  Shadow-my little fatpie, who will eat anything but raw.well she's in for a shock now lol.  And last but not least, My little rascal Bingo- Hes a naughty dopey boy who's only about 5 months old and has been happily wolfing down raw mince since I got him from the rescue.  |
